Back at it! Here’s the weekly review of chart action on mainstream radio. These synopses are based on my work as a Mediabase employee, Urban research. I post these every Monday morning. Legggooo…..

On Rhythmic radio: New music in the Top 30 is Zedd f/ Foxes “Clarity” and Calvin Harris f/ Ellie Goulding “I Need Your Love.” New to the Top 20 is Jason Derulo “The Other Side.” Robin Thicke f/ Pharrell & T.I. “Blurred Lines” gained 800 new spins, moving into the Top 5, which is surprising for Rhythmic radio. I would easily expect that on Urban.

On Urban Adult Contemporary: Lyfe Jennings “Boomerang” climbs into the Top 25, and both John Legend “Who Do We Think We Are” and Tamar Braxton “The One” are in the Top 15.

On Urban radio: French Montana “Ain’t Worried Bout Nothin'” jumps into the Top 25, as does Mario f/ Nicki Minaj “Somebody Else.” Fantasia f/ Kelly Rowland “Without Me” is now in the Top 15.

Top 3 songs on Rhythmic radio: J. Cole f/ Miguel “Power Trip,” Macklemore & Ryan Lewis f/ Ray Dalton “Can’t Hold Us,” and number one Justin Timberlake “Mirrors.”

Top 3 songs on Urban AC radio: Tamar Braxton “Love And War,” Alicia Keys f/ Maxwell “Fire We Make,” and number one Miguel “Adorn.”

Top 3 songs on Urban radio: Wale f/ Tiara Thomas “Bad,” Ciara “Body Party,” and number one J. Cole f/ Miguel “Power Trip.”
